John Hartley DEAKIN was born in 1927, the son of James Stanley DEAKIN and Margaret Evelyn DEAKIN (née SPEID).
John married Anthea M. BONHAM in Worcester in 1957. John was the former vicar of Enville (1995-2002) under the office and benefice of Kinver and Enville and a Member of The Bridgnorth Anglican Team Ministry.
John passed away, aged 92, on 24 July 2019 at Innage Grange Residential Care Home, Bridgnorth, following a long illness. His funeral took place at Stourbridge Crematorium on 6 August 2019, followed by a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving at The Parish Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
